English Language Development
Welcome to the English Language Development Office
and Assessment Center!
The ELD Team is dedicated to helping students learn and advance in the English language in addition to fostering their success in the classroom. Upon enrollment, our primary role is to assess English Learners in their primary language and English to assure proper placement in a classroom. We serve as a resource for teachers and support for English Learners and their families. We are located at the district office, in door L, near the new enrollment center to make access easier for our new enrollees. You are invited to visit our office anytime and find resources on district-sponsored parenting classes and other community information. Our staff also serves all the schools within the district with interpretations and translations.
