Setting up MUSD Email on your Phone

To set up MUSD email on your iPhone or iOS device:

How to connect your iPad and iPhone to the MUSD Email:

  1. Make sure your phone iPad or iPhone is 50% charged
  2. Make sure you are connected to WiFi
  3. Click on the gadget icon for Settings
  4. On the left side scroll down to Accounts and Passwords
  5. On the right side click on Add Account
  6. Click on Microsoft Exchange
  7. Enter your school email account ie: fberumen@menifeeusd.org
  8. Description: enter how you want to identify this email, ie: MUSD, Menifee
  9. Click on next
  10. Click on configure manually
  11. Make sure your email is correct and enter your password
  12. It will verify your information and advance to Exchange Device ID
  13. Make sure the following is entered:
  14. Email: your school email addresss
  15. Server: outlook.office365.com
  16. Domain: menifeeusd
  17. Username: your school email address
  18. Password: your password
  19. Description: what you named this account
  20. Click on next
  21. Next pages shows: Mail, contacts, calendar, reminders and notes, these are the items you want sync with your school email account.  Green means it will sync, if you don’t want it to sync click on it and it will be grayed out.
  22. Click on Save
  23. Now it will return to Accounts and Passwords and you will see your new email on the right hand side.
  24. Close this window and go to your email account and it with sync with the school email account.
     

To set up MUSD email on your Andriod phone or tablet:

 

How to connect your Android Device to the MUSD email:

  1. Go to the Google Play Store and download the Microsoft Outlook App
  2. Open the Microsoft Outlook App
  3. Click on Get Started
  4. Top of the page read Add Account, enter your school email address ie: fberumen@menifeeusd.org and click on continue
  5. On the page labeled Office 365, make sure your school email account is correct and then type in your password and click on Sign in
  6. You will see a circle and nothing on the page because it is configuring your account
  7. It will ask if you want to add another account – click on skip
  8. Paged labeled Focus Inbox – click on skip
  9. Close window
  10. Go to the icon labeled Outlook
  11. It will take a minute for your emails to propagate
