Our Governing Board In Action

During the month of August the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:

Ratified the purchase of four (4) Starcraft Quest School Buses equipped with special needs equipment and 68,000 BTU AC System
Approved the proposal with John R. Byerly, Inc. for the geotechnical engineering and testing laboratory services for the Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project, off-site sewer
Ratified the attached agreement with AYSO
Approved the District's request for Mandate Block Grant funding from California Department of Education (CDE) in 2019-20.
Ratified the three-year Standard Purchase Agreement with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Publishing Company
Ratified a three-year subscription with WeVideo
Ratified the Independent Contractor Agreement with A+ In Home Tutors i
Ratified the Independent Contractor Agreement with Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy
Approved the Independent Contractor Agreement with School Health Services, A Nursing Corporation
Approved the appointment of Dr. Julie Hong as Director of Continuous Improvement and Accountability
Approved the appointment of Timothy Biland as Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Special Programs
Ratified Agreement with Math Professional Development Services with Riverside County Superintendent of Schools
Ratified Agreement with Google Apps Professional Development Services with Riverside County Superintendent of Schools
Ratified the contract with Achieve 3000, Inc.
Approved an agreement between California Baptist University and Menifee Union School District for Teaching Internship
Approved an agreement between the University of Redlands and Menifee Union School District for educational fieldwork in Professional Educational curriculum and/or the Communicative Disorders curriculum
Approved a Memorandum of Understanding between the University of Redlands and Menifee Union School District for Internship in Multiple Subject, Single Subject, and Educational Specialist Credentials
Approved of the Appointment of Christina Buckley as a member of the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) of the Riverside County Special Education Local Plan Area for the 2019-20 school year
Approved of the Appointment of Vicky Iqueda as a member of the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) of the Riverside County Special Education Local Plan Area for the 2019-20 school year
Approved of the Appointment of Rhonda Moeller as a member of the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) of the Riverside County Special Education Local Plan Area for the 2019-20 school year

Recognition of Support – Target: Mrs. Betti Cadmus, Public Information Officer presented Target Menifee a plaque of acknowledgement for their continued support, and to Ms. Ullie Hernandez for her outstanding service to the District.

American Heart Association, Ms.Debbie Pucciarelli presented a $4,200.00 grant to Ms. Brenda Myers from Ridgmoor Elementary School, who has raised money through the "Jump Rope for Heart" Program.
