Our Governing Board In Action

During the month of  September the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:

Mr. Bennett asked for a moment of silence to honor the 911 victims;

adopted Resolution 2019-44 authorizing the commitment of revenues for specific purposes

approved Form J-13A, Request for Allowance of Attendance Due to Emergency Conditions due to Menifee Union School District schools being closed on August 9, 2018 and August 10, 2018 as a result of poor air quality caused by the Holy Fire in Lake Elsinore;

approved the change in assignment for Vanessa Westmoreland from Elementary Teacher to Assistant Principal;

ratified the Menifee Council of Classified Employees Tentative Agreement;

approved the increase in Salary Schedule for Classified Confidential and Salary Schedules of Management;

approved the Independent Contractor Agreement with Gayle Satoski DuRivage to paint a mural project on the reception area wall and five characters in the hallway in order to enhance school climate at the District's Menifee Preschool site (mural proposal below);

approved the Independent Contractor Agreement with McGraw-Hill School Education, LLC. To provide staff training on Study Sync and Wonders curriculum;

approved the AYSO  Facility Use Agreement

approved the change in assignment of Kevin Feddock from Facilities Planner to  Maintenance and Operations Supervisor
