Our Governing Board In Action

During the month of April the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:

• Awarded contracts for the construction of the MVMS Reconstruction Project to the contractors for each specialty
• Approved the proposal from Erickson-Hall Construction to provide Construction Management Services for the new construction of Middle School #4
• Approved the proposal provided by SWS Engineering, Inc. for surveying Phase 3B of the Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project
• Approved Resolution No. 2020-65 Declaring Emergency Conditions Exist At Menifee Union School District
• Approved the Purchase and Sale Agreement and Escrow Instructions between the Menifee Union School District and Brian Chang and Jonathan Chang, for a school site
• Approved Resolution No. 2020-69 and approve the Purchase and Sale Agreement and Escrow Instructions between the Menifee Union School District and Cheryl Bartlett and Rosemary Evans for the purchase of real property and related actions for a new school site
• Approved a three (3) year Software Services Agreement between Menifee Union School District and OpenGov, Inc.
• Approved a three-year agreement with PowerSchool Group LLC
• Ratified the an agreement with John R. Byerly, Inc. for soils investigation for the Chester W. Morrison Elementary School kindergarten reconstruction project
• Approved the proposal provided by BakerNowicki Design Studio for a contract increase for modifications to the Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project
• Ratified the agreement with Garner Holt Education
• Approved the job description and position of K-8 Principal
• Declared the week of May 18-22, 2020 as Week of the Classified Employee
• Declared May 13, 2020 as Day of the Teacher
