Wrapping up the National School Counseling Week celebration is Diana Flores, Herk Bouris Elementary School Counselor. The week’s messages focused on the theme Perseverance, something that we practice every day.  

Illustrating some of the struggles we are going through right now, in her video Diana quotes Ironman, Tony Stark who said, “Sometimes you gotta run before you can walk.” Right now, as we struggle to succeed, Diana shared an uplifting quote from F. Scott Fitzgerald, “Never confuse a single defeat with a final defeat.”

Diana stated that all the MUSD counselors “are here to help you succeed, we know you can preserver to overcome challenges and achieve your goals. You’ve got this!”
