The Menifee Union School District is pleased to welcome Ms. ShaKenya Edison, M.Ed., PPS, to the position of Director of Student Success Services.  Previously known as Pupil Personnel Services, the updated name of the department is reflective of the efforts to ensure all students in Menifee Union have the programs and supports necessary to be successful both in the classroom and in the community.  Student Success Services coordinates Counseling, Nursing, Section 504 Accommodation Plans, Positive Behavior Intervention, Inter and Intra District Transfers, Student Attendance, and Community Liaison Services. 

Ms. Edison comes to Menifee Union as an established leader in the area of student success.  Having previously served as a director in districts in Northern and Southern California, Ms. Edison brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in equitable support for students, academic and wellness programs for students, and the laws, regulations, and policies that govern education.  Ms. Edison is a trained school counselor and is a highly recruited public speaker for student advocacy among state agencies.
