Welcome to Callie Kirkpatrick’s webpage,

The purpose of our webpage is to create access to important school information and academic resources.  At Callie Kirkpatrick elementary we believe when educators and families work together to set high standards for student learning and engagement we promote educational excellence.

In California, we have the opportunity to prepare our students for college, career and citizenship in the 21st century.   According to the California Department of Education, “Academic preparedness refers to the reading and mathematics knowledge and skills necessary to qualify for placement into entry-level college credit courses, job training, and identified industry sector expectations as appropriate.”

Changes in educational standards, curriculum and funding are occurring in California; at Callie we remain committed to our vision of Educating and Inspiring Pioneers of the Future.  Effective communication is an essential component for managing change in a positive manner, so we provide a variety of media and resources along with our webpage to share information with all stakeholders.

The Calliecast is a short news and information segment produced by Callie teachers.  Fifth grade students are invited to participate as hosts and all grade levels share their work throughout the school year.  Click the Calliecast tab on our homepage to learn more about our school.  Use the CKE Parent Student Handbook and Calendar throughout the year to learn about school wide programs, events and services.  Follow us on Twitter to receive instant messages and access to parent resources; our school username is Callie Kirkpatrick @ckepioneers.  We send out monthly office email updates (make sure we have your correct email on file).   Teachers send information home with students, so please keep-checking those backpacks.

Callie’s ongoing commitment to educational excellence and high parent/community involvement provide the foundation to support all learners’ continuous improvement and academic success.  If you have questions about any of our programs or services please contact our office at (951) 672-6420.

Sincerely,

Lynn Hanke

Principal, Callie Kirkpatrick Elementary
