Dear MUSD Students, Staff and Families,

Extended school closures due to Covid-19 have increased the need for families to partner with teachers for the benefit of students.  This week the helpful hint from Ed Services is to focus efforts in Math.  Whether you are cooking, doing yard work, or at the grocery store, Math is all around you and we want to encourage you and your child to talk about measurements, lengths, distances, time and money.  This is also a great time to pull out those flashcards.  One thing that will help your child maintain skills is to keep math facts memorized.  Addition, subtraction, multiplication and division facts are necessary baseline skills, keep those stills strong.

Also, we wanted to let families know that the District Educational Center will be open this Tuesday and Thursday, April 28th and 30th from 9am to 11am for Engagement Packet Pick-Up, weeks 2-4 are still available should you like hard copies of what is available on the District website.

We thank you for your continued participation in Distance Learning.  Take care and keep learning!

Best,

The Education Services Team at MUSD
