Workers' Compensation Instructions for Reporting

If injury is life-threatening, call 911 immediately, then notify supervisor and Risk Management.

All other work related injuries and/or illnesses, call S1 Medical Triage at (833) 691-9022 and report injury to Supervisor.  Risk Management will then follow up with the injured worker.  

Following the work related injury or illness, please note the following:

• If an employee is injured and seeks treatment, a work status slip will be given to the injured worker.
• The work status slip must be provided to the injured workers supervisor and Risk Management. 
• If there are work restrictions, the injured worker must be cleared through Risk Management, PRIOR to returning to work.   At this point, Risk Management will arrange for an Interactive meeting and we will hold this meeting as soon as possible to ensure a swift Return To Work.

Menifee Union School District will not be responsible for any bills for self-procured medical treatment not authorized in advance by Risk Management.  Any evidence of abuse, suspicion of fraud or misrepresentation in order to obtain Workers’ Compensation benefits will be investigated and prosecuted.
