Children with specific academic and behavioral needs receive free appropriate public education (FAPE) at Evans Ranch Elementary School (ERES).  After initial assessments and identification, placement into the least restrictive learning environment is determined by the Individual Education Plan team, which includes the parents, general education teacher, and special education staff qualified to address the child's specific needs.

Currently, the school provides Resource Specialist Program (RSP) services, Special Day Class (SDC) services, and Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services.  A district Occupational Therapist (OT), School Psychologist, School Counselor, and Adaptive Physical Education (APE) specialists also support students with specific academic and behavioral needs.
