At Quail Valley Elementary School we are committed to providing a standards-driven curriculum in a safe and orderly environment that promotes excellence and values. We believe every child is an individual of great worth and we will equip them with skills and strategies to become life-long learners in an ever changing world. Our focus is on the four essential questions of learning:

• What do we want students to learn?
• How do we know if they have learned it?
• What do we do with the students that didn’t?
• What do we do for the children that already knew it?

Goal Statements

• All staff will develop the capacity of all students by utilizing rigorous academic content standards to develop academic skills in a safe and supportive learning environment.
• All staff will utilize differentiated instructional techniques as well as multiple assessments to support, monitor and demonstrate student achievement utilizing data. 
• All staff will support school-wide character education through the use of Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) in order to motivate students to become involved responsible citizens who will successfully function in, and contribute to, our diverse community. 
• All staff will encourage students' intellectual curiosity while developing each child’s cognitive skills through problem solving and critical thinking.
• All staff will inspire all students, even those perceived to be the greatest at risk, to achieve academic success.
• All staff will promote active parent and community involvement.
