Welcome to Táawila Elementary School!

2019-2020 School Year

Welcome parents and cubs!!  The Booster Club has a fun-filled, jammed-packed school year ready to go!  We have created this packet to introduce the Booster Club to you, how to contact us, payment options, and most importantly what we need from you (volunteering!!).

We have four parents on the Executive Board with four At-Large Members.

Angie Foley, President; Jordona Hertz, Vice-President; Heather Stanberry, Secretary; Wendy Caldwell, Treasurer.  Our four At-Large members are:  Nicole DeKruf, Viri Lopez, Meighan Buchwald, and Cristina Macias. Follow us on our Facebook page, “T’aawila Elementary School Booster Club” to see all upcoming events and reminders for the school year.  You can communicate via Facebook messenger or our email taawilaelementaryboosterclub@gmail.com.

We are a 501c3 organization and will be fundraising through the school year.  Where does the money go?  100% goes back into the school.  As we all know, budgets for the schools are not as strong as they once were, that’s where our fundraising comes in.  We will supplement supplies needed for the school, host parties for the kids through the school year, plan and pay for assemblies, playground equipment, special events for families to attend, teacher appreciation week, etc.  We also plan long term goals and reserve for future unforeseen expenses.

How can you help?  Numerous ways!

  • Volunteering at events, extra hands for set up, working events, and clean up.
  • Donations – we can provide our non-profit licensing to you/your company for monetary and/or gifted items of donations (see booster for details here please).
  • Participate in fundraisers (or a simple donation if not wanting to participate)
  • Ideas – don’t keep them to yourself, this isn’t Vegas! LOL!  Share, we are listening
  • Did we mention VOLUNTEERS are NEEDED??
  • Ask to be your child’s class room parent
