In Menifee Union School District (MUSD), we believe that the key to a quality instructional program and environment is due to the strength and quality of our employees. We employ approximately 500 certificated employees and approximately 545 classified employees. This web site will provide useful information to our current employees as well as for those considering applying for positions.

Certificated Employment

Applicants for certificated positions must hold or be eligible for a California Multiple Subject, Single Subject, and/or Special Education Mild/Moderate or Moderate/Severe Credential. Applications are accepted for specific positions as they become available.

Classified Employment

Classified employees provide a wide variety of support services which do not require a teaching credential. Job Descriptions, including qualifications for these positions, are available in the Personnel Services office. Applications are accepted for vacant positions. Upon application, a job specific skills test will be administered to applicants.

Administrative/Management Employment

Applications for certificated or classified leadership, as well as confidential positions, are accepted as positions are available. Proper credentials and experience are listed on the Notice of Vacancy.

Substitute Teachers

Substitute teachers are depended upon in the absence of the regular classroom teachers. MUSD employs substitute teachers throughout the year. Although the minimum requirement is a Bachelor’s Degree and CBEST, priority is given to those with a teaching credential. The current rate of pay for substitute teachers is $200 per day.
