Menifee Union School District

Every 10 years, governments, local governments, and school districts use new census data to redraw their district lines to reflect how local populations have changed. The Menifee Union School District Board of Trustees encouraged all members of the community to participate in the redistricting process for the School Board Trustee voting areas. They held a virtual community meeting to solicit input from community members. These changes DO NOT impact attendance boundaries in any way.

In the Menifee Union School District, there are five (5) Board of Trustee areas.  After every Census, school districts are required to:

1.     Review the population data to determine if their board areas are still within the allowable variance.

2.     Make any necessary adjustments to the areas to ensure population balance.

The 2021 redistricting effort will impact the board areas for the November 8, 2022 primary elections.  The input of the community was important to create the map that provides fair and effective representation for all citizens of the District.

During the February 8, 2022 Governing Board of Trustees meeting, the Board adopted Map C, as seen below.
