During the month of February the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:
- Approved the final Mitigated Declaration for Middle School #4
- Authorized staff to solicit bids for HHSA rough grading on the east side of the campus
- Approved the Event Facilitator Agreement with Earth Capades at no cost to the District
- Approved Notices of Completion for TWC Landscaping and Rocky Coast Builders Inc. for the construction of Táawila Elementary School (ES #14)
- Approved the change in assignment of Dr. Lisa Hall, from Interim Director of Special Education to Director of Special Education
- Accepted with thanks donations listed on an attachment to this agenda. BELL MOUNTAIN MIDDLE SCHOOL: $300.00 from BMMS PTSA from Book Fair to be Used for the Library; DISTRICT EDUCATION CENTER: $9,778.00 in Certificates from Firehouse Subs for Student Incentive and Awards; EVANS RANCH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: $607.95 from Kelley Franchise, Inc. to Support School Culture; FREEDOM CREST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: $1,036.04 from Second Grade to Cover the Cost of Busing for Study Trip; and HANS CHRISTENSEN MIDDLE SCHOOL: $32.40 from Box Tops for Education to Support School Culture; $2,048.89 in Certificates from Coco's Restaurant for Student Reading Incentives and Awards; $76.92 in Promotional Items from Wilson Creek Winery Donated to Kick-Off Management Meeting Related to Evening of Excellence; EVANS RANCH ELEMENTARY SCHOOL: $270.00 from Kelley Franchise to Support School Culture (corrected amount from 2/12/19 Governing Board Meeting approved for $607.95, should have been $270.00); and HARVEST HILL STEAM ACADEMY: $937.37 from Hope Reigns Charity Foundation Donated for Busing for Study Trips
- Approved Final Charter Petition for Santa Rosa Academy
- Approved the purchase of three (3) Starcraft Quest School Buses equipped with special needs equipment and 68,000 BTU AC System
- Declared March 04-08, 2019 as Week of the Administrator
- Ratified the Comprehensive School Safety Plans for school year 2018-2019
- Approved the plan for the Low-Performing Students Block Grant
