Governing Board Highlights - March 2019

During the month of March the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:

Attended the Board Training: Protocols and Best Practices Special Board Meeting with Mr. Todd Robinson, Attorney from Atkinson, Andelson, Loya, Ruud & Romo's Riverside Office who gave a digital presentation on Board Protocols and Best Practices
Accepted the 2018-2019 Second Interim Financial Report as presented
Ratified the proposal with John Byerly Inc. to perform a Seismic Refraction Survey at HHSA
Approved the RTA Fleet Management Software and Support Services for the MUSD Transportation Department
Approved the purchase of radio equipment for vehicles (buses/maintenance vehicles), emergency operations (school sites, District Office Administration) and enhanced communication (repeaters for complete coverage in Menifee Valley)
Approved the appointment of Annette Dochstader to the position of Transportation Supervisor
Adopted Resolution No. 2019-56, Designating April 2019 as Public Schools Month.
Accepted the CDE TUPE Grant awarded to the District
Approved the addition of one (1) 8 hour, Bus Driver/Trainer Position
Approved the addition of one (1) 8 hour, Transportation Technician position
