During the month of April the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:
- Approved the contract with BakerNowicki Design Studio for the design and coordination for the Reconstruction of Menifee Valley Middle School
- Approved Southern California Grading, Inc. for Harvest Hill STEAM Academy addition rough grading
- Approved replacement and upgrade of copy machine/printer equipment and software as per attached proposal
- Approved the addition of up to seventeen (19) Bus Driver positions
- Approved the addition of two (2) 8 hour, Mechanic positions
- Approved the addition of one (1) 8 hour, Purchasing Agent position
- Approved the addition of one (1) 8 hour, Transportation Technician position
- Approved the proposal with Duke Cultural Resources Management for Archaeological Monitoring for the Harvest Hill STEAM Academy Addition project
- Approved the revised proposal for the purchase of radio equipment for vehicles (buses/maintenance vehicles), emergency operations (school sites, District Office Administration) and enhanced communication (repeaters for complete coverage in Menifee Valley) as described in the attached revised proposals provided by Airwave Communications
- Approved the addition of one (1) Music Teacher position
- Declared May 08, 2019 as Day of the Teacher
