Our Governing Board In Action
During the month of June the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:
- Adopted the 19/20 Local Control Accountability Plan
- Adopted the 2019-2020 Budget
- Approved a contract with WLC Architects for architectural services for the construction of Middle School #4
- Awarded Bid No. 20-001 Roofing Project to F C And Sons Roofing Inc. in the amount of $915,529.00 for Bell Mountain Middle School and six portable classrooms at Ridgemoor Elementary School
- Award Bid No. 20-002 Painting Services to ISR Painting Inc. for Callie Kirkpatrick Elementary and portions of Quail Valley Elementary and Evans Ranch Elementary
- Approved the formation of an Associated Student Body (ASB) organization at Harvest Hill STEAM Academy
- Held a Public Hearing for the purpose of taking input on the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP)
- Held a Public Hearing of 2019-2020 Proposed Budget
- Approved the award of the bid for Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Phase I - Offsite Sewer Connection to O'Duffy Bros. Inc., funded by Measure Q
- Awarded contracts for the construction of the Harvest Hill STEAM Academy Addition to the lowest responsive bidders for the nineteen (19) different categories
- Approved the Agreement for Student Transportation Services between Hemet Unified School District (HUSD) and Menifee Union School District (MUSD) for 2019-20
- Approved Security Camera Project Phase I - District Network Upgrade
- Approved the modification to Riverside County Superintendent of Schools MOU and Agreement for Participation in the California Classified to Classroom Pipeline to Teaching Grant Program
- Ratified the Menifee Teachers Association Tentative Agreement
- Ratified the Memorandum of Understanding between the Menifee Council of Classified Employees and Menifee Union School District for Modified Summer Work Hours
- Approved: the job description of K-8 Attendance Clerk, the job description of K-8 Library/Media Technician, the addition of one (1) 8 hour, Licensed Vocational Nurse position, addition of one (1) 3.5 hour, Nutrition Services Assistant I position, addition of one (1) 8 hour, Maintenance Worker II position, the addition of one (1) 8 hour, Office Clerk position, the job description of K-8 Secretary
