Our Governing Board In Action

During the month of August the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:

  • Approved the 2020/2021 45-Day Budget Revision as presented

  • Ratified the attached Cultural Resources Treatment and Tribal Monitoring Agreement with the Pechanga Band of Luiseño Indians for cultural resources survey monitoring at the potential ES #15 site

  • Approved the Memorandum of Understanding between the Menifee Council of Classified Employees and Menifee Union School District

  • Approved the Consolidated Application and Reporting Systems (CARS) Spring 2020 Data Collection Release

  • Held a Special Meeting of to continue the search for the Public Employment of the next MUSD Superintendent

  • Approved the attached change orders with James McMinn, Inc. (JMI) for the MVMS Reconstruction Project

  • Approved the contract with Catalyst Family Inc. for "Catalyst Kids" (formerly known as Child Development Center (CDC))

City of Menifee Mayor, Mr. Bill Zimmerman
City of Menifee Student Recognition Awards Mayor Bill Zimmerman Menifee Mayor, Mr. Bill Zimmerman recognized 26 MUSD students (one boy and one girl from grades 5 and 8 in participating schools) who received a Citizenship Award given by the Rotary Club of Menifee. Mayor Zimmerman expressed his appreciation to the students for their positive behavior in their school community, and awarded a Certificate of Achievement to each student.
