Our Governing Board In Action

During the month of January the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:

• Ratified the Report of Purchases for December 2020
• Approved the MacLeod Watts renewal of actuarial services for 2021-2022
• Ratified the Interdistrict Attendance Agreement with Poway Unified School District for the 2020-2025 school years
• Ratified the Lease Renewal provided by Class Leasing for Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction interim housing
• Approved the revision of one board meeting in July on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 and move it to Tuesday, July 13, 2021 in replacement on the Calendar of 2021 Governing Board Meetings
• Adopted Resolution Number 2021-16 titled Resolution of the Board of Education of the Menifee Union School District Approving the Annual and Five Year Report for Fiscal year 2019/2020, in Compliance with Government Code Sections 66006 and 66001
• Accepted the 2019-2020 Annual Report for the Citizens' Bond Oversight Committee for Measure Q as presented
• Approved the selection, appointment, and contract for Marc Bommarito in the position of Assistant Superintendent of Business Services, effective January 27, 2021, pending clearance
• Approved the position of English Learner and Assessment Technician
• Adopted Resolution No. 2021-15 declaring February 2021 as Black History Month
• Approved the Single Plans for Student Achievement for all District schools, as presented, for the 2020/2021 school year
