Our Governing Board In Action

During the month of April the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:

• Ratified the Report of Purchases for March 2021
• Adopted Resolution 2021-23 Authorizing Encumbering Funds for the following fiscal year
• Approved a Joint Community Facilities and School Facilities Mitigation Agreement (“JCFA”) with the City of Menifee, Menifee Union School District, Diamond Brothers Five Partnership, LP and Pulte Home Company, LLC
• Approved a proposal for Architect of Record Services with PBK-WLC Architects
• Approved the Notices of Completion for contractors for the Harvest Hill STEAM Academy Addition
• Approved the selection and appointment of ShaKenya Edison for the position of Director of Student Success Services, effective April 26, 2021
• Declared the week of May 17-21, 2021 as Week of the Classified Employee
• Declared May 12, 2021 as Day of the Teacher
• Adopted Resolution No. 2021-27 to approve a temporary loan from the General Fund to Fund 13 Cafeteria Fund if necessary
• Approved the Architect of Record Agreement with BakerNowicki Design Studio for the Shade Structure Project at Menifee Valley Middle School
• Approved the Proposal Provided by Moore Fence Company for Construction of New Fencing at Quail Valley Elementary School
• Approved the proposal for Prequalification of Prospective Bidders Services for the Menifee Union School District
• Approved the proposal provided by John R. Byerly, Inc. for geotechnical engineering, special inspection, and testing laboratory services required for the Middle School #4 New Construction Project
• Awarded contracts for the Middle School No. 4 Project to the lowest responsive bidders for the twenty (20) different categories
• Approved the District's Assessment Plan for the 2020-2021 school year
