Our Governing Board In Action

During the month of August the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:

  • Approved Inter-district Attendance Agreement with Coronado Unified School District for the 2021-2026 School Years
  • Approved a Notice of Authorization with Cooperative Strategies, LLC for Financial Advisory Services - CFD No. 2006-3 Refunding Bonds
  • Approved the Second Reading/Adoption, Proposed Revisions to Governing Board Policies, Administrative Regulations, Exhibits, and/or Board Bylaws
  • Adopted Resolution No. 2022-01, Approving the Mitigated Negative Declaration for Elementary School #15
  • Approved MGPA Architectural/Engineering Services for Full Day Kindergarten and Transitional Kindergarten at all Elementary School Sites
  • Ratified A-Tech for Hazardous Materials Survey at Hans Christensen Middle School
  • Approved Change Orders #3 & #4 with SWS Engineering, Inc. for the Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project
  • Approved Lease Agreement with Class Leasing for Menifee Valley Middle School
  • Approved Contract CSPP-1381 with California Department of Education (CDE) for 2021-22 State Preschool Program
  • Approved the Appointment of Mr. Nick Stearns as Principal of Oak Meadows Elementary School
  • Approved the Appointment of Mr. Timothy Aguilar as Assistant Principal of Bell Mountain Middle School
  • Approved Accounting Technician Conversion – Nutrition Services
  • Approved additional Crossing Guard Positions
  • Approved additional Elementary and Middle School Teaching Positions
  • Approved Intervention Facilitator Positions – BMMS, HCMS, HHSA, MVMS
  • Adopted Resolution No. 2022-03, Request to the State of California for the Expeditious Revision of Face Covering Guidance for K-12 Schools

  • Adopted Resolution Number 2022-06 for the Temporary Transfer of Funds from the Capital Facilities Fund and the General Operating Fund for the 2021-2022 Fiscal Year

  • Adopted Resolution No. 2022-04 - Approval to Adopt Procedures and Criteria for Evaluating Qualifications and Proposals of Lease-Leaseback Contractors

  •  Approved Change Order #1 with E&R Glass Contractors, Inc. for the Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project

  •   Approved Change Order #2 with Sylvester Roofing Co. for the Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project

  • Approved Change Order #7 with Valley Pipeline Services for the Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project

  •  Approved Environmental Audit for Transitional Kindergarten and Full Day Kindergarten Project

  • Approved GPRS Utility Locating Services for Menifee Preschool Addition

  • Approved Waxie Enterprises, Inc. Piggy-Backable RFP No. 08-16 with the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance (NCPA) for the 2021-2022 School Year

  • Ratified All American Painting for Pressure Washing District Wide

  • Ratified Contract Increase with B&D Landscape Maintenance, Inc. for the Harvest Hill S.T.E.A.M. Academy Addition

  • Ratified NPG, Inc. for Ridgemoor Elementary School Asphalt Repair

  • Approved Assistant Director of Fiscal Services Position, Job Description, and Addition to Salary Schedule 208

  • Approved a Bus Driver Position, Custodian I Positions – HHSA, TES, ERE, FCE, Preschool,   Noon Supervisor Position – CWM,  Nutrition Services Assistant I and Nutrition Services II Positions – BMMS, MVMS, HCMS, HHSA

  • Approved Nutrition Services Delivery Driver II Position, Personnel Technician I Positions, Risk Management Coordinator Position, Job Description, and Addition to Salary Schedule 208, Speech Language Specialist Position - Preschool
