Our Governing Board In Action

During the month of March the Menifee Union School District Governing Board took the following actions:

• Accepted the 2020-2021 Second Interim Financial Report as presented
• Adopted Resolution No. 2021-20 to approve a temporary loan in an amount not to exceed $7,000,000 from the Capital Facilities Fund to the General Fund if necessary
• Approved district participation in the Inclusive Early Education and Expansion Program (IEEEP) for a period of 4 years 
• Approved the Irvine USD Contract #19/20-01 IT, Technology Equipment and Peripherals which authorizes staff to purchase technology equipment.      
• Approved the proposal provided by Information Technology Solutions, LLC for additional services for the District Wide Security Camera Project
• Approved the proposals provided by Blue Violet for VoIP Phone Systems for Hans Christensen Middle School and Quail Valley Elementary School                     
• Approved the proposal provided by WLC Architects Extended Construction Administration Services Proposal for the Harvest Hill STEAM Academy project
• Accepted the Second Reading/Adoption of the proposed revisions to Governing Board Policies, Administrative Regulations, Exhibits and/or Board Bylaws
• Accepted the First Reading of the proposed revisions to Governing Board Policies, Administrative Regulations, Exhibits and/or Board Bylaws
• Approved the Architectural Services Agreement with BakerNowicki Design Studio 
• Adopted Resolution No. 2021-21, in support of a waiver request on statewide assessments for the 2020-2021 school year
• Approved Change Order #6 with Valley Pipeline Services for the Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project 
• Approved the corrected financial impact for Additional Services for CW Driver for the Menifee Valley Middle School Reconstruction Project 
• Approved the proposal for Inspector of Record Services with Vital Inspection Services Inc. (VIS)
• Approved the proposal with Kitty Siino & Associates for appraisal services for CFD 2011-1 Improvement Area 6 
• Approved the attached proposal for the construction of a new fence at Harvest Hill STEAM Academy
• Approved the Underwriter Engagement Letter for CFD No. 2011-1 Improvement Area 6, 2021 Special Tax Bonds with Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, Inc.
• Approved one (1) Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant position, effective March 24, 2021
• Approved the conversion of two (2) 3.5 hour, Health Services Technician positions to two (2) 3.5 hour Licensed Vocational Nurse positions, effective March 24, 2021
