The Facilities Department, headed up by the Director of Facilities, oversees and provides the planning and supervision of all new construction within the District, as well as all major renovation projects such as those provided for in recent general obligation bonds. The Facilities Department is also in charge of overseeing all Community Facility Districts (CFD's) and the financial accounting of such districts. The Department interacts with all new outside commercial and residential development and is in charge of negotiating the mitigation parameters and collecting all school fee's associated with such development. The Department coordinates with all local, regional, statewide, and national governmental offices regarding development activities within the district. The Department also coordinates with all local and regional public utilities to ensure proper service is available to all district resources. Facility use is handled within the Department.
