Jessica Gomez, Director of Continuous Improvement and Accountability

The Continuous Improvement and Accountability Department provides innovative leadership around improving complex conditions for continuous school improvement. We coordinate and collaborate with principals, teachers, staff, district departments, and families to ensure that every student succeeds in reaching their full potential. We aim to stimulate MUSD stakeholders’ confidence in the district’s ability to effectively maximize student achievement. Our responsibilities and priorities include:

  • Analyze data and assessment results to support student growth
  • Coordinate District’s assessment programs, including State, mandated and District-Wide assessments
  • Coordinate alignment of resources instruction, assessment, curriculum, and professional development
  • Monitor and evaluate instructional services and programs for educational effectiveness
  • Coordinate and support the district’s instructional planning processes with data-driven practices
